HD Duplicator?

Hi all!

I have a bootable HD image I want to burn onto multiple hard drives at once using norton ghost. Short of buying an independent 1-to-5 HD duplicator which costs about $4000 can I use this external HD device and set them up as RAID-1 mirror and do it that way?

I would not assume that the device you linked to will do that. How many HDDs do you need to clone?

BTW, I would recommend Clonezilla over Ghost for what you are doing as long as your numbers are manageable. Is is free and effective.

While I haven't used Ghost in a while, you do need a version capable (corporate version if I am not mistaken) with suitable hardware to do 1 to many cloning.

It won't work? I'll use Clonezilla if Ghost doesn't clone a RAID-1.


Can someone please let me know if I can use this device to clone 5 HD's at once.
