HD Sentinel on RAID

So ive heard HD Sentinel can now read HDD status through the RAID controller and installed it. It gave me some error on a disk that i puchised less than 6 monts ago.
It gie me 58% health and the msg that it has "read error hard" followed by the clarification that its an error from the raid and disk status might be different. Is my controller damagng my drives?

I haven't used that on a RAID yet but i wouldn't trust it as much as it is the RAID card it self that is blocking the smart status. I have never heard of a RAID controller damaging the hard drive but the health could be due to how old the hard drive is maybe and a general % before possible failure.

Like i explained the drive was recently replaced with brand new because the old one had indication of failure (it had red light)
I however think the disk now is fine but the controller is faulty. Like shown on the picture it indicates only read errors :/
I forgot to mention that Intel RST doesnt give any error
