HD to SSD error message

I have tried several times to clone my Samsung ultrabook HD to Samsung 840Evo and I get an error message 301001[0497c9].
What does it mean?

It should give you more information than an error code. Perhaps this would help.
If you are having problems with the Samsung software, have you tried real backup software like Acronis?

It just said something like failed to clone. I don't really know what I'm doing other than following the instructions so haven't tried anything else

Or, you could create a recovery media (on DVD or USB, I am not familiar with Samsung Ultrabooks, but I'll bet there must be a way) and start a master restore from there. In other words, reinstall Windows onto the SSD rather than clone the HDD.

Before starting, double check your BIOS settings and that you have the latest BIOS version.
Read any documentation provided by the manufacturer, too.
