HD Wallapapers not exactly HD as background

So my problem is kinda weird-I download full HD 1680x1050 (exact as mine resolution) wallpapers and they look amazing on the website,but when I make them as my background they are not that HD anymore.I am not sure if you can tell the difference,but here's what I am talking about.

I would download the original 4000x2500 version and try setting that as your wallpaper see if it makes a difference
