hd4850x2 2gb with AMD drivers

Hi guys

I have some problems with hd4850x2 2gb or maybe the system. I tried everything possible but no luck , i reinstall windows vista 64 with all the updates. With this video card I had some problems before it was showing artefacts on start up but now looks ok (I cooked it in the oven for 12 minutes at 180 c) now it's ok.I don't know why without the amd video drivers the computer started ok after I installed the latest amd drivers without any errors the windows stops after the load bar.Do you think the video card bios has problems?I have another one just like this one and everything is fine.

Please guys give me a hand on this one.

Hi mate

I tried different drivers but no luck.Any other ideas?
The system is not overclocked , I didn't overclocked the video card I had it crossfired with the same one.There was no problems before , worked just fine and I decided to stop playing with it.i want to go for water cooled mobo , video card and cpu because of the temp . I don't think it gone bad just by sitting in the box.

Hi mate thanks for the quick reply.

It was bloody quick and stable I had it hooked on my telly 55 inches 1080p I was happy good scores on benchmark as well. I don't have the original drivers cd but I still think that this is not the problem, I guess the person who had it before played with the bios of the video card.what I noticed last night is that the card installed itself a driver but when I was installing the 13.1 version of drivers it wasn't starting properly. I will try to install the catalyst without the driver and I will let you know.
