HD6990 AND 1055T CPU?

hey all, just wondering if the hd6990 would be bottlenecked by a amd x6 1055t oc'd to 3.6ghz

It will fare ok but almost all dual gpu cards have numerous issues through out their life worse than traditional single gpu cards in sli/crossfire.

The Tuban's tend to bottleneck a lot of cards compared to their X4 brothers... don't know why, they just get worse performance in many games. But anyway, you already have a 5970 so I wouldn't think the upgrade is worthwhile but it should still perform great.

you have a crossfire board so you may as well get 2 6870's or something, save some money, less noise, more performance.

2 6870's are worse than a single 6990, but yeah.. less noise and you really save a lot of money.. if you want something to perform better than 6990 get 2 69xx's or 2 GTX 570's
