HD720 USB Proeblem / Not detecting correctly

Good day community, i just bought a ADATA HD720 water/shock proof HDD and i'm not able to connect it to a USB2.0 port, in the USB3.0 it works correctly, but that's testing it on a friends PC(both ports were tested and same result),in the box it says USB2.0 backward compatible.. he and I have windows 7 64bit on our PC's just in case you needed the info.

My guess is that your USB ports can't provide enough power for the disk. Try a powered USB hub or if the drive can use an external power supply try that.
