Isn't it possible now given that we can CF/SLI NVIDIA and AMD cards together with DX12?
Currently there is only 1 game I know of(ashes of the singularity) that supports multi-gpu and it's buggy as hell. There maybe a few more in the future, but its up to the game developer to program it into the game. It will not help in anything other than DX12 titles that are programmed for it.
Besides, I'm pretty sure that multi-GPU only works if you have two cards that perform similarly. And if I'm not mistaken, the R7 240 massively outperforms HD7850.

Nope, a 7850 is faster than a r7 240. The 7850 is just a bit slower than an r9 270(rebranded 7870), both are a good amount faster than a 240.

Oh, right, the comparison site I looked at must be kind of bugged, but others say that the 7850 is faster.
Someone else took it anyway LMAO but meh i think i'm better of i think the HD7850 does a better dob especially if u got some OC on it mines the gigabyte windforce does 1.1ghz easy and it can hit 1.25~123 easy prolly could do more if i had better mobo and power supply
