HD7850 running on a VS450

hello everyone can you help me i would like to buy a HD7850 2gb msi GFX card and i have a corsair VS450 psu with 38amps on the +12v rail and 2x PCI-e 6pin connectors my system is:

FX4130 3.8GHz
corsair H55 liquid cooler
8GB kingston hyper x 1333MHz CL9
corsair vs450 psu
WD blue 320GB sata 3 HDD
78LMT USB3 mobo
HD7770 1GB ghz edition
win 7 64bit ultimate

get a better psu...although it might be able to power the card but its always better to be safe than sorry

The Corsair VS 450 is fine for your system with an HD 7850. Exactly what's recommended.

that power supply is more than fine for that level of card and the rest of your components.

cool so the max power consumption would be 150w with the 6pin PCI-e connector and my psu has a total of 400w on the +12v rail with 38amps so im good

Actually the PSU will suffice but what it is considered to be bottom of the barrel in Corsair line of PSUs . Probably if anyone wants the the cheapest corsair it will be VS450. A little more expensive CS430 ( little less power ) will be the best option
