HD7870oc or GTX660oc for 955be?

hi so im on set to buy one of these today but i can't decide yet coz some people said that 7870 will bottleneck a 955be and gtx660 not.idk. but 7870 is more powerful right?
specs:

PhenomII 955be 3.6ghz
Msi 760gm-p23(fx) mobo
Hdd 1tb
Hyper212 evo
Xfx pro core 550watts(12v=44amp)
1400x900 resolution

so which of these cards is the best to pair for a 955be? and will serve me better/smooth gameplay?with no lags/bottlenecks etc..i dont wanna make a mistake ,
i need a clear answer guys pls help..

Your CPU is the bottleneck so you wouldn't see a difference in either.

I used to have a 955BE @ 3.8GHz about a year back, and I didn't see a difference in performance when I upgraded from a GTX560 to a HD7850. Once I upgraded to my current i5 setup there was a significant jump in performance with the HD7850.

Therefore, I doubt you will see too much of a difference going above a GTX650Ti or HD7790 with your current CPU.
