EDIT*** HDD plugged into sata 1, changed to sata 6.

It seems all my games crash, sometimes with a code, sometimes, silent.
Specs: i5 4690k
gtx 970
msi gaming 5
2 tb toshiba hdd
550w psu
win 8.1 dxdiag 11

This is really annoying me. I bought my pc at cyberpowerpc, and it worked fine, but the cpu cooler was defective, and the hdd failed, so i sent it back, and they fixed it. When i got it back, i installed my games, they worked fine for 20 min then started crashing consistently, and no online fix worked. I want to know if this is my hdd, bc the games worked fine before it died. Thank you.

just saying 550w is kinda low but that's not what we are here for. Yes if the hard drive is still defective then you would have crashing and what not. I wouldn't send it back to Cyberpower just cause they don't get all that good of reviews. They may be free and you may get it back working but if you have to drop a dime into sending it back just go to a PC guru store not a chain store but like your local one and let them run diagnoses on it and replace parts. You could also have bad RAM either in the GPU or the stick themselves may be bad.
