HDD Always at 100%

My computer has been EXTREMELY slow recently, so I decided to check on task manager to see what component of the PC was the bottleneck. Turns out, it has been the hard drive. It is nearly always at 100%, no matter what I'm doing. I don't really understand, either. I have a WD Green 1TB 7200 RPM drive, which seems like it shouldn't be acting like this. I have only used half of the drive, so space isn't an issue either.

I haven't gotten any S.M.A.R.T. errors regarding the drive so I don't think the drive is failing...

Any ideas? How do I solve this? Thanks in advance

Hey there, Jharrington!

I'm sorry to hear about your WD Green causing you such issues! 🙁
I'd recommend you to try disabling some Windows services that might be causing your HDD to have 100% usage.
Try this and let me know how it goes:
press Windows+R
Write services.msc
Disable
1-Super fetch
2-Windows Search
3-Background Intelligent Transfer Service

Hope it helps. Keep me posted with the troubleshooting!
