HDD and SSD Burning

So I be have a problem with something I don't no when I plug my HDD in the pc it starting to leave a bad smell so I turn off the pc something burnt 2 HDD and one SSD my motherboard is
Msi z77a-g45 and the power supply is a hx650w can someone help me

Is the PSU modular?

If so...

Are you using the cables that came with the power supply? If not, you can fry your drives.

Different manufacturers have different pinouts and you should only use the cables that came with the PSU or ones just like them.

Yes I am using the original power supply cable's and it's a semi modular

I would almost have to say something is wrong with the PSU.

Three drives didn't burn up on their own.
