HDD at 100% after buying and installing SSD

after i bought SSD and installed it , HDD is always at 100% and if i play some game dats on it , it shuts down after a while , why is it happening , is it because hdd is old or ssd is causing problems?

Use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe what applications, processes, and services are accessing/using the HDD.

Maybe some update or backup has gone astray and is on the wrong path due to the drive change(s).
