HDD being read weird in disk management

I got a 1TB from WD elements i pried it out of its case because the connectors were giving me problems. But i imagine this hard drive is starting to fail. Its being read as some astronomical number in disk management. And unallocated i try and format it to MBR and i get CRC error. Anyway to fix this or is this hard drive looking dead.

It's probably faulty but to confirm you can test it with WD diagnostic software:
http://support.wdc.com/product/download.asp?groupid=613&sid=3&lang=en

If it's faulty it cannot be fixed.
