[SOLVED] HDD capacity limit for laptops

i was thinking of upgrading my laptops HDD from 1 TB to 10TB. Sounds a bit insane. The Problem is that i dont know if there is a limit to the accepted storage capacity. Does anyone know if a laptop can handle 10TB as its secondary storage?

Edit: i couldnt find a 2.5 inch 10tb hdd but i found a 5tb. So does anyone know if a laptop can handle 5tb hdd?

1) You need to format it to the GPT. 2) if your laptop has the UEFI bios, and the OS is 64bit. Then you can use the 5TB HDD for boot device.
