When I was reassembling my case, I connected sata power to a red marked connector. So, right after I pushed power button, my HDD caught on fire so I immidiately turned everything off. I've disconnected that drive, but I had another one on the same lane. So, out of two HDD one caught on fire while another one seemed okay. After I put everything back together, second drive refuses to show up in BIOS.

My question is: Help me understand, why that happened. Drive, that caught on fire was an old 2.5 drive, which had problems with vibration. That's why I disassembled the case, did some cable managment AND decided to plug SATA power into RED-6pin slot in my PSU Chieftec APS-1000CB ( View: https://imgur.com/PbiG9Oa
). Was that too much power for the drives so it caused such an explosion ( View: https://imgur.com/OOTlkOj
) ?
