I gave same HDD to my friend but he told me he had no issues whatsoever. So, could it be possible that something is wrong with rest of my configuration?

Solution
Hey, BrianTho!

I suggest to follow scout_03's advice! You most probably need to run Window Repair from the Recovery disk and see if that will help.
If it doesn't I strongly recommend performing a fresh install on your system.
But as D_Know already mentioned the clicking noise from the HDD is not a good sign. This indicates internal damage on the drive which you won't be able to fix. So backup the data from your computer and perform a clean install.
Check the warranty of your HDD, because if it is still within this period you can call your manufacturer's tech support and send out an RMA request for replacement.

Good luck! Keep us posted! :)

Hi there BrianTho,

This very much sounds like a dying HDD. So, I would advise you to back up the data that is stored on it as well. On the other hand, it works fine on your friend's computer(which is strange).
If we assume that it runs fine on another computer, you need to check the connections: change/swap data and power cables as well as the SATA ports.
You should also test it with a brand specific testing tool.

Cheers,

So i got it back from my friend today, connected it, and got stuck at boot screen. Sorta automatically starts that auto-repair, gets to 60%, restarts and all over again. When i tried skipping it (1sec to press any key), it showed me blue screen and reason was 0x000021__ and two letters i forgot which -_-.

@BrianTho, it sounds like your drive has serious problems with bad sectors, in which case Microsoft's HDD repair software will probably only make things worse. If your data are important, I would clone your drive, sector by sector, using a tool that understands how to work around bad media (eg ddrescue) and then run data recovery software against the clone, if necessary.

Ddrescue can perform multipass cloning. It clones the easy sectors on the first pass, and attempts the more difficult ones on subsequent passes. It can also clone your drive in reverse, thereby disabling lookahead caching. It keeps a log, allowing it to resume after an interruption.
