Well, hello. Kinda hard to tell the whole story in the title..

Well, recently my HDD begun to kinda "crash", what I notice is that my HDD's folder is just re-opening, I see no data corruption, happened for the second time, and haven't lost any data, but the frustrating thing is that any game I play in it is crashing.. not instantly but after few moments, when loading for example.
HDD is pretty new, so I got the warranty. also, all the shortcuts on the desktop which are related to the HDD become empty - no icon type of short cuts.
Also, The crashing thingy doesn't take long, will happen for like 10 minutes (when everything is unavailable) and then will work very fine again, I checked the SMART through speccy, said no errors..

I also have SSD, and I'm guessing thats why my PC is still running very stable (where the OS is located)
Here are my specifications:
CPU: Intel pentium G4560 Kaby Lake
OS: Windows 10 64bit Home
RAM: 8GB DDR4
MB: Gigabyte H110M-DS2-CF
GPU: Radeon RX460
Storage:
SSD: Sandisk 223GB
HDD: Seagate 1TB 7200 RPM

Solution
a couple of things you can try to see if it resolves the issue: Try the drive with a different cable, try the drive on a different motherboard port/USB port, or try the drive in a different computer. We've seen drives have disappearing issues from a misbehaving cable.

You can also check on the health of the drive using our free diagnostic tool SeaTools.

You mentioned having a warranty, you can check into this further by using our Warranty Validation Tool if you'd like. Also here is the direct link for Seagate Customer Support if you'd like to get in touch with them directly.

Thanks for the replay, I tried Event Viewer (not really good with understanding it)
I went inside logs for errors, happened today. I checked the one with the source "Disk"
It had few errors today, and the time showen was pretty much the time I experienced the problem.
It said this: (few times the same error, just different value)

"The IO operation at logical block address 0xcae7318 for Disk 0 (PDO name: \Device\00000058) failed due to a hardware error."
another one:
"The IO operation at logical block address 0x1dcc8e68 for Disk 0 (PDO name: \Device\00000057) failed due to a hardware error."

The SMART in speccy says nothing bout errors. but 15 "Command timeouts"
should I return it to the store?

Solution

I tried unplugging the sata cables to to plug them back again, since then I havn't received any warnings or errors from the disk at all. Thanks for the advice, I was really frustrated as the error happened today far more frequently than before, making it impossible to play any game.
