Is it Ok to use hard drive diagnostics (like HDD Tune or Seatools) on a hybrid drive like Seagate's SSHD 2TB (STCL2000400)?
I've never before owned a hybrid or a SSD. (I vaguely recall drive diagnostics--or maybe that was defrag, hmm--not being OK on a SSD.)
Speaking of which, may I assume defrag is OK on a hybrid. Now that I think of it, maybe both are OK since these tools might avoid the SSD portions.
