Hello,

Recently my hdd died, so I brought a new SSD the Plextor M6s 2"5 256GB.
but I stumbled into a few problems and been trying to fix them in the past couple of days.

Right now I can't install windows 7 onto it because it seems that I do not have the appropriate drivers, no actually it doesn't even show up when I have to select.

At the moment I have barely anything to support me in this matter, I'm borrowing someone elses computer and usb(because I did not receive a recovery disk with my laptop purchase)
and the recovey software was embedded into the HHD which died so that is already no option for installing the new OS onto the SSD.

At the moment I've got a bootable usb with windows 7 ISO on it, but then we are at the issue with the drivers.
I have already tried several solutions all on forums and youtube too
the ones i could use were: cmp, change usb slot
so not a lot but most of them were ' use the delivered windows 7 cd or buy ec.t'
and those i cannot really do.

so the problem is atm that i cannot continue the windows 7 (home premium)installation because of the driver issue: A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing error

Laptop: DELL Inspiron N5110 (Q)15R

I don't really know a lot information about it but hopefully someone here can help me in this matter.

P.S. ye sorry ive written it like an idiot but im trying to get most of problem across even thought im not sure wether it will be or not

Thank you for the fast reply but sadly i am still stuck at the with the same problem even after following the guide.
It still keeps asking about the drivers after the 'install now' button

Just like this

I know this issue isn t uncommon but i have yet to find a solution which would work for myself

I barely have any option in my bios but it is already on adhi

Install from USB:

When Windows is asking for driver, just click Cancel. You will be brought back to the welcome screen. At the welcome screen, remove your USB drive, insert it back to DIFFERENT USB PORT. Click Install Now again. The installation process will be like usual. Use rufus to install from usb :)

I ve done that before and just did it again but to no avail and does the iso have to be installed using rufus?
I used iso to usb.

Btw i start up using usb port 3.0 got two of them and one 2.0 but using the latter it doesnt start(doesnt read the usb

Your my hero

Though i ve got again a new problem
Because the drive is without any drivers i don t have internet and it doest read the usb with drivers either for some reason
So how can i install it like this?
