i was backing up some files when the file progress slowed to 0kb/s yet task manager showed 100% hdd use.. i stopped the file transfer and waited for the hdd to idle again then tried moving the files and it worked for about 5s before stopping again so i restarted my pc
after the restart windows just sat at the loading screen with the windows icon for about 10mins (normally takes about 5s) before i turned off the hdd and it straight away loaded up
when i turned it back on it was detected but would freeze explorer till i turned it off again so i restarted again with it off
now disk management
cant do "CHKDSK" as i will not show up now
dont mind formatting if no other options
