HDD disappears and displays 3.86GB of memory

Hi! My HDD (Seagate STX3000) has disappeared from My Computer and when I clicked Disk Management it displays Disk 0 with 3.86GB. I tried to change the SATA cables, and it showed up again, once. Afterwards it went back to displaying 3.86GB and being unusable. I checked for faulty connections and everything's secure so I'm really at a loss for what's up.

The motherboard I'm using is a H97 Gigabyte.

What do I do?

Thanks for replying! I did just that, and the HDD is dead. Had it RMA-ed

ouch. just remember if you feel some is funny going on in your HDD. run a diagnostics so that you can back up your data.
