its been quite a while since i have this problem and I'm sure it'll happen again.

It started almost 3 weeks ago when suddenly my pc said

"your PC went into trouble and needs to restart .
Stop code-Critical process died"

No problem, i restarted and it showed the recovery page. I found out that the BBS properties of my HDD(WDC WD1600AVVS-73L20) had been lost so i just set it again and opened it now this problem occurs frequently and i have been stuck in the repair loop thrice.and i know it will happen again.I checked the cable and its fitted properly. Please help me with this.:??:

Thanks in advance.

SO here is the benchmark and health but it restarted again and error scan got messed up.

Any way to repair it?
I will use it as a storage device only and basically downloading stuff..
I'm planning to buy a seagate barracuda 1TB.

Not really. Only thing you can do is to resolve pending sectors.
You can do it using mhdd - scan with relocate option.
http://hddguru.com/software/2005.10.02-MHDD/

"Pending" - means that sector could not be read at some time. To resolve pending status, the sector has to be overwritten.
Then depending on success or failure of rewrite, pending status gets cleared or sector gets relocated to spare area.
