Quick background info: I don't know what caused this as the PC is only 1.5 years old, but, we have very very consistent power outage here in my country, sometimes power goes out like 3-4 times in a SINGLE day. so, I am highly suspecting this as the cause.

anyway, I was thinking of getting a 1TB ssd replacement and not have any hdd's in my PC at all. as they don't have moving parts and can (probably?) survive more?
If not, I will just get a seagate this time instead of WD.

It is dying. It might fail completely in the next 5 minutes.
Replace.

A Seagate or WD...makes ZERO difference for a single instance of a device. Across thousands of drives, there is no more than a percentage point or two difference in fleetwide fail rate.
The next WD you get might last a decade or more.
Or a Seagate replacement could die next week.

And SSD's can die as well.

yea, i know its 100% not WD's fault, I thought might as well just try different a brand.
as for the ssd, I just though maybe because it doesn't have moving parts its less prone to die?
