HDD free SPACE FLUCTUATING !!

Now will someone explain me how come the free space of my local disk c changes everyday??
the other drives do not change but the drive in which the os is installed, that drive shows me increase as well as decrease in free space. 2 days back it was 65GB free n today it was showing 75GB in the morning.now it is showing 69.9GB. even though i haven't downloaded or removed anything from that drive.ANY comments ??????????🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁

File caching, windows background downloading of updates, windows page file size (which expands and contracts based upon its need). Are you on Windows 10 yet? Windows downloading that causes a lot of changes.

file caching can be a reason but fluctuation is from 65 to 75 n then to 69.5gb.... i have prevented updates from being downloaded.Mmm.....page file size.......never heard of that changing. guess it allocated a fixed amount and it done. nope m in win8.1...

It can vary the size if needed, you can set a fixed amount if you want. Browser caching as well.
