I just moved my old HDD to a new system and since then its making this grinding noise whenever im scrolling on a website, could a fresh install solve the problem ( this literally started right after i booted the new pc ) ? And please dont tell my to turn off my speakers or that my fan is making the noise, im 100% sure its the HDD

Physical sounds tend to be very bad, especially the grinding variety. All you can do is wait and see, hope you've been keeping up with your backups.

Also, you should always fresh install on a new build. Operating systems are not interchangeable like cold cuts are - all that stuff during installation is done for a reason.
Hey, armin28.
exactly how old is the hard drive? which model? how much space you have left? which website, all? how much usage has on your system without any app open and how much with just a browser+1tab open? do you get black/blue screen? using it in games does it make the same noise?

HDD is made in may 2016, TOSHIBA DT01ACA100, 400gb free / 1 tb.
And now about the weird part, its not grinding nor anything as im writing this, i also tried other websites and nothing.

As you can see on the first image, active time was low on windows and then i opened toms hardware and it was staying at around 55%. right now as im writing its 3% active time.
I dont hear it in games
