HDD health, Do I need to get a new drive urgently? 120,000TB Lifetime Writes?

Ive been using my HDD, a Seagate Barracuda 1TB, since 2013. Ive always used an SSD for OS and applications that Im using constantly but everything else is on the HDD. SeaTools has given it a PASS in the SMART test, drive self test and generic sequential read tests, but it also states the lifetime writes at 123PB and lifetime writes at 340PB.

I ran CrystalDiskInfo which gave these results and Im wondering is the drive close to failing or am I just putting myself in an unnecessary panic.

Im not sure how to make sense of all of the error rates it shows.

You should always be prepared for a dead drive. Even right out of the box.
Being good today does not mean it will be good next week.

Backup backup backup.

Your snapshot doesn't mean much. If those values change over time...then you worry.

I am aware of this now, I had never backed up my drives because I was a naive kid but I've been transferring the really important files to another solid state that i found recently and backing up other media onto flash drives.

Was planning on buying a new hard drive next week because I now know that the current drive has to fail eventually.

Drives die. Eventually, ALL of them.
I've had drives die at 5 weeks out of the box. 36 hours from "good to dead".
I have others almost 20 years old.

If you wait until some software tells you it is failing, you've waited too long.

I don't care (much) about the physical drive. A dead drive is not the only means of data loss. Virus, accidental deletion, ransomware, etc...

Very strange, though SeaTools is definitely incorrect, the drive has to be dying if its giving false impossible values like that. Or else Seagate made a very good batch of drives XD
