hello i have a 2tb seagate barracuda that bought 4 years ago. it was fine until i noticed that some of my files read slowly or wont open. i installed hdd sentinel and it showed i have 800 bad sectors and the health was below 9 percent. i used hdd regenerator to fix bad sectors but still hdd health hadn't increased. i backed up my files and wiped the hdd but still low health. is there a way to reset or revive hdd or i should throw it into garbage?

I have another hdd that shows 100% health that's been in use for more that 10 years, so why this 4 year old one should get bad sectors?

Can you show screenshot with SMART results for your drive?

If health is bad, then get a new drive.
Avoid Seagate Barracuda line - those are all smr drives with inconsistent write performance.
General recommendation is to avoid smr drives altogether, if feasible.

in case i have another hdd that its working more that 10 years with full health. why this 4 year should get bad sectors?
Hdd regenerator or reformat can fix only logical bad and weak sectors, something that happens with power loss during writes for instance. Nothing can fix errors of physical nature like a head crash.
