So i have tried to install my old HDD back into my rig. Now when i put in my old hdd into the connector nothing happens no new drive in windows. But when i switch the old HDD into my cd roms drive It pops right up. I need this old HDD for more storage ofcourse. But i tired all the connecters(the two that are use are for my current HDD and my CD rom.) but the other three dont pick it up. Could they be dead?

I am new to this so i most likley screwed something up. please help :/

Just to be safe, did you also connected the power supply to the HDD?

Assuming yes, then you should test this HDD on another machine. If its dead, then you can buy a new one. But do get a SSD instead of HDD, you can get 250GB for $100 and thats gonna rock for the next years, you are not gonnna game more then 250GB so soon

Well my old HDD had my old Operating system. Pluged it in and it came up good. I had both my HDD plugged in and my CD rom plugged into one of the other slots. But it did not come up. But both my HDDs did. Is their something i need to fixed?
