Hello guys,
I've come to you for help since I don't know much about storages. Yesterday I booted my PC and wanted to access some folders/files on my E drive and got the error message File/Folder is corrupted or unreadable. So after a quick google search I downloaded Crysal DiskInfo and got this status report. Does it mean the HDD is dying/dead and I should buy a new HDD as fast as possible?
Thanks!

Solution
You should get a replacement disk as soon as possible if the HDD houses mission critical data. Does the drive have warranty on it? Once you've backed up the data, you can send the HDD off for an RMA. As for your drive not being accessible, you might want to use TestDisk to get your data off of it but your mileage can and will vary.

Your HDD's power-on hours count of 27277 is equivalent to more than 3 years of continuous operation. Even if you didn't encounter warnings, it's high time to do backups and seriously think about replacing the drive. Now that you have received those warnings, you should replace the drive ASAP.

The 1TB drive in my son's laptop is 5 years old and has logged 13.5k hours - half of yours. It's still showing perfect health in diagnostic software and he's backed up all of his vital data (he's an architect). Still, I'm gong to replace the HDD with an SSD as soon as the replacement is delivered.

Hey Lutfij,
thanks for a fast reply. Seems like my suspicions were confirmed. Fortunately I backed up all the critical data yesterday. Unfortunately there is no warranty on the disk anymore so I guess I'm ordering a new HDD today. Any recommendation what kind of HDD I should buy? It's purely for storing large games, movies and photos.

@Pimpom
Yeah, I didn't realize it's been running for such a long time. I guess I should have checked much sooner rather than wait for something to go wrong. As I've mentioned in my reply to Lutfij, today I'm ordering a new disk and all critical data have been backed up.

Those are pending sectors. Means - drive at some point couldn't read them.
Doesn't mean those sectors are bad (yet).

Pending sectors get resolved by overwriting them. On successful rewrite, pending status gets cleared. On unsuccessful rewrite - sector gets relocated.
This can be done with mhdd (scan with relocate) or with victoria software.
