Question HDD is locked.

I have a ADATA SX8200PNP and bios is requesting for me to enter a hdd password to get in. I can get into bios but there is no way to turn off the password. In the boot options it doesn’t even display the boot ssd I have. How do I get in my computer…

I never put a password on it.

it is encrypted? could try different port or reset the bios

password on hdd is stored in bootsector, not in bios, so clear cmos wont take that away this forum doesnt allow any pasword bypassing, so only low level format can be suggested here (that will delete all drive content)

A password doesn't just generate itself.
Someone applied it.

In any case, Forum rules preclude assistance with passwords.
