HDD keep disconnecting and reconnecting

issue-
-one of my HDD keep disconnecting and reconnecting on its own while system is running. and once it reconnect all the drives open up and i have to close them.. it happens 2-3 times in if i am running my system for ..10hours

setup-
corsair VS450 orange
ryzen3 2200G (stock speed+stock cooler)
2x4gb ddr4 2400 green rams
2x 1TB wd green
250gb samsung 860evo sata
LG optical drive
1 120mm corsair case fan

both disk HDD are over 5years old, i have checked the connections and switched the connections in between drives too, problem is still there.
ssd and 1 hdd share a power cable and 1 ssd got a powercable all to itself
i got no issue running media off these HDDs, 1080P videos show some lag in VLC sometimes though.
-is this got something to do with the PSU ?
-or the Disk are getting old

Control panel > Power options > Change plan settings > Change Advanced power settings > Turn hard disks off after... set to 0/never.
