Hello, all my pc temps are pretty good but for some reason my hdd keeps getting hotter
On friday i had temps ranging from 31-34c while using it and the last few days i get 34c as the lowest using temp and 36 as the highest... it got a lil bit warmer outside too but it didnt affect the other temps in my case so im kinda wondering why this is happening?

The only thing i changed was removing my dvd optical drive from my case which was at the top front of my case right over my HDD (between the 2drives there was like a 2-3cm gap id say,now that it is removed over the hdd there is like a 10cm~ empty space between hdd and case)

Can this new empty room somehow effect the temp in such a way? did the optical drive somehow make my hdd cooler?

Anyone has an idea? its really weird (i never used the dvd drive)

Of course not worrying but curious if "only" removing the optical drive changed 2c then well id just screw it in again i mean its not hurting anyone and if it effects the temp in a positive way - why not?

Im just skeptical that more room for the hot air to move away from the hdd seems to be warmer than another drive right over it resulting in very small free room (or does this result in a more focused airflow around the hdd maybe? that would make sense tbh)
