HDD LED do not blink

Hello,
i have a problem related to my HDD LED. When i assembled my computer there is no light of HDD has not blinked. I have a 20 pin motherboard connector.but in that a pin has not shown. will it effect badly for my computer? Will the related problem because of it? please answare soon.thank you!

um no you probably put the wires in the wrong header it will not affect your computer it purely for looks unless your drive dosent start up then its you hdd

you might have but the HDD LED in upside down i had the same problem
