HDD LED When I left my Computer - Homebuilt

So I left my newly built computer on to download some files (as you do). Twice when I have returned there is no HDMI signal going into the monitor with the HDD LED flashing in a regular (if i remember right) pattern. However, my music is still playing and my keyboard and mouse are still connected. What can this be? It works fine when I'm on it. I hope this is not a serious issue.

Sounds like power management?

Check your screensaver/power management settings? They're more than likely set to turn your computer off / sleep

Perhaps your monitor has an auto power off feature,have a look in the monitor menu for this.

Thanks very much, I think that solved it. I guess that was just a simple silly mistake, I forgot to check!
