Question HDD light not working, can't connect to monitor

Title says it all, HDD light stopped working suddenly after school. I have also noticed that the USB ports are not working (keyboard and mouse not lighting). The monitor does not react at all whenever I turn my PC on and off but the fans are still spinning, I am certain that this is not a monitor or hdmi issue.

I was using it the same morning that it broke and it was working fine, Though for the few months I had it it was seated on carpet (Static electricity maybe?). I have tried resetting cmos using the battery but I cannot reach the jumper.

My motherboard is an ASUS HB1M-E, other components not available sorry

Any help would be appreciated, this is a final attempt before I take it to be fixed.

What is the make and model of your PSU and it's age? You might want to breadboard the system with the bare minimum of components to see if you can regain functionality.

Speaking of which, is it possible for you to list the rest of the specs of your system?
