i want to buy hdd for gaming so i think wd black would do the job but i was wondering if it ill nt be available thnn which 1 to buy i need same or more performance thnx
For gaming, Western Digital Black vs Western Digital Blue...no difference. Just buy the blue one. Black is for those that need to do editing work.
This. For games you'll notice little to no difference in performance when it comes do hard drives. Even an SSD offers little advantage, other than loading new maps quicker.
Though you probably won't notice a lot of difference, I wouldn't go for a WD Green for games. WD Green drives are slower and more energy efficient drives, meant to store data on.
I would not. In some tests (but not all), the Samsung Spinpoint F3 is as fast or faster, but it has a very short 1-2 year warranty, vs. five years for the WD Black.
my green hdd is not very quick responsive so i need a quick responsive hdd like if i defragment or something other things doesnt slow u know wat i mean

Are Spinpoint F3s still sold? I thought most of them had to be gone by now, since Seagate bought Samsungs HDD division.
The Black will blow the doors off the Green.
The Velociraptors are faster still, but they tend to be smaller, and so much more expensive that the cost gets into SSD territory.
