HDD making grinding noises

Basically the three HDDs that i have ever purchased made this strange grinding noise. EVERY HDD that i've ever purchases... yet everyone keeps saying that it's a HORRIBLE thing that leads to hardware failure... After 6 months my brand new Seagate barracuda HDD 2 TB (That made the noise) began to screech, so i replaced it with a brand new WD BLUE HDD. I expected this HDD not to make the grinding noise because it was brand new but what do you know? It made the same damn noise everyones freaking out about.

HELLLLP i don't want this drive to fail as well like my last one yet every drive i've ever had has made this stupid noise. I'm lost and don't know what to do...

Would have to hear the noise to really know. In any case, hard drives fail and you can't fix them once they start to go. You should always have your stuff backed up.

Run a full test with WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostics.
