HDD making little beep noise.

Hi, everyone Its been 20 days since i have got my newly assembled Pc. Every thing is working fine but my WD 1TB Green Hard drive makes little beep noise, not constantly but occasionally though its working as the way it should be. But i am little bit worried. is it normal or should i call WD guys?

Unless I am on another planet, I don't know how a HDD would make a beep. They don't have speakers of any sort. Could this be from something else in your case or is this an external drive?

@ahnilated bro its not a beep but kind of a sound only you can hear it if it is quite. and i have checked it. It is most probably coming out of my HDD.

Well then your HDD might be failing. Usually a HDD will make clicking noises from the heads moving back and forth. If you are hearing that type of sound you could have a failing HDD.

I have checked it again. Its not my HDD, the whining noise is coming out of my PSU. What should I do. Is it normal or a matter of concern?

If it is coil whine, that can be normal and nothing you can do other than get a new PSU. How old is your PSU?

Its new with in one year warranty. Today, i slightly hit on PSU and it stopped but again it started now. I think its coil making noise.

The only way to fix this would be to replace the whining part. You could see if the PSU company would RMA it or not.
