HDD Not being detected on first boot / New Build

Hey guys,

I finally finished putting together my new custom build.
Here are the specs:
-Asus P8P67 Pro
-I5 2500k
-8gig Ripjaw 1600
-Galaxy 580 GTX
-500GB HDD (Sata connection)
-250GB HDD (Sata connection)
-Enermax 600W


I was half expecting for the computer to blow up when I pushed the power button (first time building).
But it all went well, memory was detected, cpu detected, dvd drive detected, all except for my two Hard Drives.

This is the message im getting,
"Adapter 1 Disks Information: ANCI (I think there was a 0 after the word ANCI)
No hard disk is detected!


Anyways, I tried plugging the drives into all the other sata ports but still the same message.

How do i fix this ? I don't want to loose my data.
