HDD not being recognized

Earlier this week, my power supply blew, as in making popping noises like firecrackers and smelled like smoke. Today I went and purchased a new one, and hooked all of the cables up. I am getting the "Reboot and select proper boot device" error. When I go into my bios and look at the SATA ports it doesn't shoe my HDD to be plugged in, even though it is. This may seem a little confusing as to what I'm asking, but I just want my computer to work. Anything will help, thanks!

Looks like the power supply took the harddrive with it. Time to try another and pray the motherbd is not fried too..
