Hello everyone,

I need help finding out why my computer won't recognize my HDD. I just did a re-installation of Windows 7 Home Premium onto my SSD (120GB). I've used my HDD as storage for all other programs aside from my OS. After this re-installation, my computer will no longer pick up the drive from outside of the BIOS or allow me to access my data.

I've linked a few images below if it helps:

Boot Screen - http://postimg.org/image/kgdxdfcm7/

SATA config - http://postimg.org/image/jyn1kd84t/

HDDs - http://s22.postimg.org/ikvep28vl/HDDs.jpg

Can anyone please assist?

- Gary

Yes, it does currently show as 'Disk 0' Healthy (System, Active, Primary Partition). And it is online.

you may have to assign a drive letter to it manually. i've had to do that several times before. in disk management, right click the bar that says " Healthy (System, Active, Primary Partition)" and hit change drive letter. then click change. then select a letter that is totally unused, like X. click ok and ok again. see if the drive opens then

Hi there gmok1,

Do you see the drive in Disk Management? A cause for your issue may be that the drive does not have a letter assigned. If this is the case: Right Click on the Drive > Change Drive Letter and Paths > Choose a letter.

Hope this will help,
