Hi , I had some problems with my m.2 ssd after I bought it (it didn't show up in the bios) but after I moved it to a different m.2 slot it showed up in the bios but my HDD didn't although I used him for a year . I have changed the ports and replaced the sata cable but even after that the HDD didn't show up , what can I do?
Thanks!

Solution
If it's an M.2 SATA SSD, some SATA ports are automatically disabled depending on which M.2 slot you use.
This is explained in detail the motherboard manual.

So try plugging the HDD in to a different SATA port.

Post mobo model if you want more specific info on this or if you don't have the manual.
