Hi guys!
So yesterday I built my first ever pc and everything was going smooth until I realised that my 1TB Seagate barracuda hdd is not showing up. So I went to the disk manager and tried to initialise the hdd from there. I keep getting an error message saying "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error."
PLEASE HELP.
I have tried switching both power and data SATA cables. I have also tried to plug the cables into different ports once with no luck.
The motherboard that I'm connecting to is rog maximus xi hero wifi.
Thanks for any help and patience with my dummy problem in advance!
Also I forgot to mention, I have an m.2 Samsung 970 EVO Plus Polaris 250G
