Hi, yesterday i reinstalled windows 10 and everything went fine. I formatted my SSD to gpt and windows booted right up. Now today I plugged in my HDD that is still on MBR format. How do I change the format of my HDD and not lose all my backups and important files? Windows 10 does not recognize it but my bios does. How do I fix this?
Thanks for the help.

The part about losing backups and important files. If they are "backups" then you would have the originals somewhere. If they are the only place you have the files, they are not backups. You need another drive to keep backups so this is not an issue. Once you sort things out with the drive being seen, get another drive, external is fine, for actual backups.
