Question HDD Performing way below expectations 23/43%, very slow PC actions.

My laptop is very slow and idk what is the reason for that, maybe it's just old piece of ****, but maybe something happened.
I just want to know, should I buy a new laptop, or do sth with this.

Often, large WIndows updates will write over/replace drivers with generic MS-provided drivers...

I'd first download/install all applicable drivers for your laptop...

Then you can gauge it's performance properly, at least....

(You also have only 4 GB of RAM and it is running in single channel, which will drag down performance in all other benchmarks.....; even the older Win7 ran better with at least 6 GB of RAM, and, preferably 8 GB....

If you wish to gauge storage, download/install/run CrystalDIskMark....

You can't get an accurate benchmarking when you have high background usage as the warning indicates.

I'm moving this to the windows 7 forum to help you clean up whats running. This doesn't appear to be an issue with the drive.
