I recently got a kingston 120gb ssd to pair up with my WD 1tb hdd. I installed the OS to my kingston, and decided to use the WD 1tb hdd for games and storage.

The problem is, my games will close or crash due to some error, than the hard drive will appear with the options "Open and view files" etc...

Here is a screenshot of what happens: http://gyazo.com/45adf06c86bc35a506c6dcebd6c542b7

Could it be heating problems?

im using windows 7 x64 bit

Is this an internal drive? If it is, Windows is seeing it as a removable drive for some reason. Updated the bios on the system and install any other updated drivers for the motherboard.

Make sure your cables are connected well, and trying a different sata cable won't hurt either. Maybe try a different sata port for it.

Did you install the games to the HDD or are just running the game from the windows install hat was on the HDD?

I believe you haven't re-installed the game so the current windows is lacking the registry entries and appdata that games typically write when you install them.
