HDD Problems Need Help

I recently got 2 new hard drives (The 1Tb ones) and the hard drive called "Disk 2" is not showing the option to assign a letter to it and I would like to know if someone else has had this problem and/or knows how to fix it so I could use the space. Also my 500gb drive named "Disk 1" only allows me to use 350 MB of space so I also wondering if anyone has had this problem and/or knows how to fix it so I can use the full space. Initialize and create a new partition of the space of disk 2. Might be able to just create a new partition. Right click on Disk 2 and see what your options are. If needed you can download the free Partition Wizard or any of the several other free partition apps.
