Hi,

I recently bought a Thermaltake max 5 duo HDD rack. It has one bay for 2.5" disks, one for 3.5" and two USB 3.0 ports. Great product, good speeds. Two weeks ago I installed win 10 /had win 7 till then/ and now the rack doesn't work so well. When I insert an ssd it doesn't appear. I have to restart, plug it in and then it will work. The transfer speeds have fallen. When I plug something in the usb ports, they work fine. I've turned off the option to turn off the usb devices in order to save power.
Any ideas why this is like this?

Yes i did. I guess the Thermaltake is faulty. When I copy my video files from an ssd to my internal hdd, there are artifacts in the image. I tried with and other sata to usb controller and everything is fine. The video source is perfect. I'll be returning it.
Thanks CountMike for the assistance :)
